One of the best ways to control your budget is your guest list. There are so many people that you would love to see and spend time with on wedding day. However, it is best to choose those that you would like to be on your “A” list first. These are the people that absolutely must attend obviously parents, grandparents, siblings, and other family members.
If you have 100 guests and your venue is priced $100 per person inclusive of all taxes, this is $10,000 of your budget. Keep in mind that there is a list of other vendors needed for the wedding day.
Photographer, Hairstylist, Makeup Artist, DJ/Band/Musicians to name a few.
Create your list of guests first, this also helps narrowing down the type of venue you need for the capacity and style. If you find a venue that you fall in love with but need to cut your budget, weigh the options and decide what is best for your both.
